Democracy requires both Liberty and Justice. And giving billionaires orders of magnitude greater influence on elections than ordinary citizens is not just. This ruling pushes American society further along a cycle of increasing corporate influence from which it will be difficult to return.

mike • Seriously. It'll take a Constitutional Amendment to change this now. Which will only happen once things get so bad that even conservatives will call for change. 20 years? 30 years? By then, corporations/billionaires will have so much control and influence, it might be impossible to change. 10 years ago
