mike • I prefer that people be held accountable to the commitments they've made, including students. However, students could not have predicted or in any significant way altered the actions that lead to the economic meltdown; they don't buy houses, they don't work in finance, they don't work in government and cannot vote. Therefore I agree with this vox, in particular with the idea that student loan repayment terms should be eased, and new federal loan interest rates be kept at 3.4%. 12 years ago

bboyatwork • In the works? Yes I don't mind paying for my education. I just don't think I should get screwed doing so. But, my philosophy is that, unspecialized, general education should be free 12 years ago
